Caitlin McCann

Former Bartender, Staffer to Picente, Bartender again, VP of MVHS Communication, Plaintiff

A bartender by trade, McCann worked her way up from a bartender at the Oneida County Executive's favorite campaign restaurant, Piggy Pats, to his personal staffer.

Shortly after becoming Picente's staffer, McCann and Picente started to frequent local, out of the way, hole in the wall taverns, in the area, often inviting friends to partake in their extracurricular drinking activities.

On the night of March 9th, 2008, after a heavy binge drinking session, McCann, staffer to then Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente, was pulled over in New Hartford and charged with an aggravated DWI having had blown into a breathalyzer, smashing previous BAC levels, that she had never been previously pulled over for. This was the the beginning of McCann's reckless behavior...well not the beginning but the beginning of this story, one that includes her boss being a part of and helping to cover-up as time went on. On April 28th, 2008, the disposition for her crime was a simple $500.00 Fine and an $80.00 Surcharge. All swept under the rug. Luckily, for you, not for her, rugs can be lifted.

McCann would later, abruptly, leave Oneida County to seek refuge at grandma's house in Lake City South Carolina. Read more in the Lake City Refuge Tab.

Sometimes, during their romantic nights out on the town, McCann and Picente would get frisky. One Oneida County Sherriff deputy recalls the two, "Coming and going at odd hours". Well sure, nobody goes to the bar in the middle of the afternoon, and, after McCann's DWI, it was decided that McCann could no longer be trusted behind the wheel, so leaving the car in the county garage was a better idea until the end of the evening when she could hit Genesee Street and coast home out of sight. Sometimes, however, Picente would outdrink McCann, putting McCann back behind the wheel. Luckily for her, this time, and most times after, she had the Oneida County Executive in the passenger seat.

In 2020, Prominent Local Bar Owner Michele Klosek, gives a deposition confirming that former NYS Trooper Investigator Matt Sullivan told her that Picente and McCann were found in a car in the Piggy Pat's parking lot getting it on.

Ask yourself this, why would a NYS Trooper Investigator make up a story like this? Would he really have anything to gain or was he simply giving truth and substance to an already known situation? Btw, prior to being deposed, Mrs. Klosek had a case of amnesia, having signed an affidavit for McCann's FREE attorney, mobster Louis Brindisi, informing him that she had no idea about any affair or anything. Interesting how things change once you have to swear under oath. Hey, at least her memory came back and she recalled the "sexual stuff" that McCann and the Oneida County Executive Picente, were engaged in out in the parking lot of Piggy Pats.

Having been sent to South Carolina by mom and dad, and after McCann lost her after birth baby pudge (having obsessively exercised 2x a day in Charleston at a local gym) and was brought back by her parents from SC, she was immediately rewarded with a job at MVHS. In a very short time she was riding high as the VP of Marketing and Communications. Yep, no more slinging tater tots she was on her way now.

On the morning of February 11th 2019, McCann logged onto a press conference on WUTQ's Facebook live, in which Picente was alleged to have had an affair with an un-named staffer. Esteemed news reporter, Rocco LaDucca (who wrote the mob files) having never previously  spoken to Gordon about the affair, whispered to Gordon, "McCann is on". Have you watched the video yet? (In their own words). McCann doesn't recall if she watched the press conference. She wasn't quite sure what Picente wanted her to say and Brindisi didn't know that Gordon already knew. Remember, her name was not mentioned.

McCann would later be directed by the cabal, Picente, Julian, Brindisi and company to be used in a ploy as a victim weaponizing the legal process and suing Gordon for defamation in an effort to derail Gordon's campaign and further the cover-up of her affair with Oneida County's most powerful politician, Anthony J Picente Jr.  Make sure you put the JR in there or you get someone even worse...well....

Today, McCann and Picente do not take interviews and do not answer questions, however, the media seems to have all of the "facts". We will get into that in the tab above labeled, The Fake News.
